Hi, I'm Josh Davies

Level/Gameplay Designer

I am a Cheltenham (UK) based Video Game Design graduate looking for his first job in the games industry. I'm looking to specialise in Level Design but have worked on projects over the course of my degree where I have created game mechanics and 3D assets using 3Ds Max.

I am currently working as a Dog Holiday Coordinator for Barking Mad Cotswolds and have been for the last 6 years.

In my spare time I can often be found playing tennis or playing games! I usually try and get out onto the court 2 - 3 times a week and regularly take part in local tennis leagues. On the odd occasion I may even be found out and about enjoying a long walk.

My ideal way to relax after a long day would be to either watch a series/movie on the tv or hop into a call with my friends and play some games together.

Facts about me:

I've spent my entire life living in the Cotswolds

I have a 1st Class Bachelor of Science Degree in Video Game Design from the University of Gloucestershire

I have been playing tennis for 14 years, starting out when I was 10 years old

My favorite games are Europa Universalis VI, Rocket League and Cult of the Lamb

I'm part of a long-running Dungeons and Dragons campaign

I could tell you almost anything about Greek Mythology

I love dogs!
